The Players and their families had to get up early to meet at the Swartz Bay ferry by 8.30am! The team enjoyed the trip across and arrived at Portlock Park in time for a warm up and a pre-game chat from co-coach Bruce. The earlier start suited the players well as they quickly got down to work and came out continuing their good play they exhibited the previous week! Robert called from Braefoots' Soccer Central at half time and was told that the game was going well! It was not till the game was over that he learned that this was:Daniella's Day!
Dani found the back of the net F O U R times to be one of 16 players of the match!!
Celine managed to get the ball BELOW the cross bar this game and earned her first league goal in 2 seasons ! An impressive goal by Lisa was welcomed by the coaches! SaltSpring responded by sneaking two balls behind the LakeHill goal to end the eight goal feast!
